Effect of enzyme additive dosing on the stable biological foam formation
Original language description
The paper examines effect of enzyme additive on stable biological foam formation. Biological and physicochemical parameters were assessed for this purpose. Close connection between dosing fats into the influent sewerage and subsequent foam creation was proved. Enzyme additive (E-additive) was found to suppress filamentous microorganisms, metabolism of which is connected with utilization of fats (Microthrix parvicella, GALOs). For other microorganisms no suppressing effect was observed. Conditions underwhich using of E-additive are suitable are discussed.
