    Nitrification is a rate-limiting process in biological wastewater treatment with nutrient removal. The technique of in situ bioaugmentation improves the level of nitrification in activated sludge process. The presence of nitrification bacteria was detected by using the FISH method.

    Nitrifikace je rychlostně limitující proces při biologickém čištění odpadních vod s odstraňováním nutrientů. Metoda in situ bioaugmentace zvyšuje úroveň nitrifikace v aktivačním procesu. Přítomnost nitrifikačních baktérií byla detekována s použitím metody FISH.
