    Destrukce halogenovaných organických látek spalováním

  • Original language description

This work deals with destruction of evaporated halogenated hydrocarbons (dichloromethane, chloroform, tetrachloromethane, freon 113, 1,2-dichloroethane, trichloroethene, tetrachloroethene, tribromomethane and halon H 1011) by combustion with natural gas.The result of the experiment was almost total conversion of organic fixed halogen to HX (X=F, Cl or Br). Only several ppb of volatile organic compounds were detected in flue gas: chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, tetrechlorethylene when chlorinated hydrocarbons were burned, freon 113 when freon 113 was burned and bromoform and bromobenzene when brominated hydrocarbons were burned.. This method was proved to be relatively effective for destruction of halogenated hydrocarbons. The determination of PCDD/F, PCB and PAH in flue gas was carried out for the optimal combustion regime. The total concenration of PCDD/F in flue gas in combustion of tetrachloroethene was 2,2 ng/m3 TEQ.
