Effect of corn silage treatment with preservative and fungicide on biogas yield
Original language description
The efficiency of biogas production is significantly affected by quality of substrate used, in this case corn. The quality of corn depends, among other factors, on the addition of preservatives and fungicides. Laboratory experiments of biogas production were performed with two corn hybrids in treated and untreated variants with fungicedes Retengo Plus during growth. Silage simulation was done with and without the addition of chemical preservative LUPRO-MIX NC. Results show positive effect of corn cultivation with fungicide and of the addition of preservative to silage on biogas yield, but the effect of preservative dose size is not quite clear.
