Original language description
In this work, we propose non-dispersive extraction as primary/alternative and efficient tool to reduce organic micropollutants concentration from waste water. The data will serve as a basic know-how for innovative technology tertiary waste water treatment. Model waters contaminated by PCBs, HCHs and drugs were tested in laboratory batch scale with selected organic extraction liquids. The mutual pollutants affinity and the extraction liquid were systematically investigated on the basis of residual quantity in wastewater after extraction process measured by GC-MS, GC-ECD, GC-FID or LC-MS. Results from the analysis recommended the most suitable extraction liquid for the selected micropollutants .
