    The paper represents intermediate research results in the field of tightness testing of flange joints connection and contamination monitoring of pure helium under high pressure by the diffusion of gases from outer atmosphere through the sealing of the flange joint. For testing purposes a unique apparatus was constructed and a method for determination of low concentration of helium in the outer atmosphere and simultaneously a method for determination of low concentration of gases contaminating helium from outer controlled atmosphere (nitrogen/air) were created.
