Original language description
Nine composite packaging materials were studied for Cl content (0.68-43.42 g/kg). The lab. findings concerning the compn. of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) and Al-contg. municipal waste disposed currently by incineration were used to deduce the amt. of strictly monitored, highly toxic Cl-contg. substances emitted with flue gases into the atm. There were 171 t of PVC co-combusted in the Czech Republic every year.
