Continuous preparative chromatographic separator KCHS-SMB-8 is an equipment for separation of substances based on system of chromatographic column with simulated flow of solid phase (SMB = Simulated Moving Bed). Separation plant consists of following segments: 8 chromatography column in series connection and equipped by heating mantle, distributing multi-function valve of one's own original construction (object of patent application), time-programmable gearing of valve and connecting pipes with membranepumps, various valves and fittings (backward and air-outlet valves, adjustable valves for pressure control in system and pressure compensator of pumping liquides). Measurement of temperature, pressure, conductivity, refraction and other quantities isprovided by unit Almemo-Ahlborn enabling also a direct connection to PC.
