The intentions was to verify the potentiality of NF application for beet raw juice purification. Authors focused on separation of melassigenic elements as potassium and sodium ions, i.e. elements that increase amount of waste product (molasses) durig sugar crystallization. Partial concentration of raw juice caused by water removing was examined as well. Membrane requirements are high: good rejection of sucrose, low rejectoin of nonsugars, high temperature resistance (up to 95°C)...
