The enhancement of bioavailability and biodegradability of aromati compounds by humic acids
Original language description
Cell populations of two yeast taxons degrading, respectively, naphthalene, phenanthrene and phenol, exhibit optimized capability to utilize these compounds if exposed to the effect of humic acids. The humic additive affects the bioavailability of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons as well as the evolution and stability phenol hydroxylase level induced by phenol.
