The automatic microcultivation system Bioscreen C was used for determining the growth characteristics of twelve different yeast species without/ in the presence of heavy metals ions. Standard cultivation techniques were applied for the study of stress affects of heavy metal on the production of EPS and on the changes of cell wall composition.

Czech description
Automatický mikrokultivační systém Bioscreen C bylpoužit pro stanovení růstových charakteristik 12 různých kvasinkových kmenů bez nebo v přítomnosti těžkých kovů. Standardní kultivační technika byla použita pro studium stresu způsobeného těžkými kovy ovlivňujícím produkci EPS a složení buněčné stěny.
