Pesticides are wide group of organic contaminants representing different physico-chemical properties widely used for the treatment of crops. Even if applied in accordance with good agriculture practise (GLP), under certain circumstances they still mightleave detectable residues in commodities even if contents of pesticide residues applied for treatment of crops is in respect to maximal residual limits (MRLs). Acute and/or chronic exposure can cause potential risk to consumers including humans.
