Original language description
Molecular biology assays were used to determine the identification of thermophilic and mesophilic bacilli. A genotypic study using randomly amplified polymorphic DNA analysis (RAPD), amplification of the 16S-23S rRNA intergenic transcribed spacer (ITS-PCR), restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) of 16S rRNA and restriction fragment length polymorphism of the ITS-PCR (ITS-PCR RFLP) was carried out with 5 thermophilic and 3 mesophilic Bacillus isolates. Protocols for all above mentioned methods were optimised for routine laboratory use.

Czech description
Metody molekulární biologie byla použity pro identifikaci termofilních a mezofilních bakterií rodu Bacillus. Bylo zkoumáno celkem 5 termofilních a 3 mezofilní izoláty a to pomocí metod: polymorfismus náhodně zmnožené DNA (RAPD), amplifikace intergenové oblasti 16S-23S rRNA (ITS-PCR) a polymorfie délky restrikčních fragmentů (RFLP) jak 16S rRNA tak produktů ITS-PCR reakce. Pro všechny výše uvedené metody byly optimalizovány jejich protokoly pro snadné laboratorní použití.
