BDE 209 in sewage (wastewater) sludges and sediments, monitoring of their toxicity and bioremediation by microorganisms in these samples

  • Original language description

Study is aimed on PBDEs monitoring in samples of sewage sludges and sediments from different places in Czech Republic. We investigate above all biodegradation of decabromodiphenylether (BDE 209), that is producing to these days. Aerobic and anaerobic incubations are followed until different conditions. On the basis of structural similarity of PCBs and PBDEs is investigated if the soil that is contaminated with PCBs contains microorganisms that are able to degrade BDE 209. Beside absolute content of of PBDEs is momitored also ecotoxicity of samples.

BDE 209 v odpadních kalech a sedimentech, monitoring jejich toxicity a bioremediace pomocí mikroorganismů přítomných v těchto vzorcích
