The potential for aerobic degradation of MTBE was examined using bacterial isolates from contaminated soils. Using the 16S rDNA protocol, two isolates capable of degrading MTBE (Rhodococcus pyridinovorans 4A and Achromobacter xylosooxidans 6A) were identified.

Czech description
U bakteriálních izolátů získaných z kontaminované půdy byla zkoušena aerobní degradace MTBE. Použitím protokolu16S rDNA , byly získány dva izoláty se schopností MTBE degradace (Rhodococcus pyridinovorans 4A a Achromobacter xylosooxidans 6A).
