Microbial dechlorination of polychlorinated biphenyls
Original language description
Our work is focused on the PCBs biodegradation under anaerobic conditions. Suitable microbial consortium was isolated from sediment of Strážský canal. This study is focused on the 4th enrichment transfer dechlorination abilities of particular microbial consortia. High chlorinated biphenyls are converted to the chlorinated biphenyls with lower rate of chlorine.
