Influence of abiotic stresses on the physiology of winter wheat sprouding plants.
Original language description
The understanding of the relationship between seed development, environmental conditions and quality at the molecular, cellular, physiological and agronomical level are basic aim of seed science. The external conditions include stress factors. The application of 24?epibrassinolide at begin of flowering has substantial positive influence on plants which growth under stress conditions. If application of this phytohormone is provided at standard conditions, influence is at measured traits disputable, but incase of analysis of phytohormones content, seed contamination by fungi and water utilisation at germination give promising results, especially at seed production. The change of seed traits has (statistically) significant effect on change of the root system and on the other traits in filial generation. The improved response of seed traits to stress conditions is accessible also via plant breeding.
