Spectroscopic identification of fructose and hydrocolloids in bee pollen samples
Original language description
Bee pollen is a perspective product of beekeeping successfully used as food supplements. Raman and FTIR spectroscopy were applied to structural analysis of monofloral bee pollens in comparison with flower pollens of the same botanical origin. On the basis of band interpretation, the differences in composition of flower/bee pollen samples can be easily proved and thus confirmed the presence of fructose and structural polysaccharides.
