  • Original language description

    Sulfides are produced during anaerobic digestion of sulfur containing compounds and they are transferred according pH into biogas as hydrogen-sulfide complicating biogas utilization. Hydrogen-sulfide and partially carbon dioxide can be absorbed into a washing liquid for biogas upgrading. Captured sulfides can be oxidized by sulfur bacteria with oxygen or nitrates and nitrites as electron acceptors.
