Original language description
This work focuses on the polymer swelling investigation by the experimental measurements of particle volume changes at different sorption conditions, which correspond to the conditions during the sorption measurements. The results presented in this workserve for: (i) the understanding of the swelling process at different conditions, (ii) the buoyancy correction of the swollen volume in the gravimetric sorption measurements, (iii) the support of the co-sorption effect theory, (iv) the support of the theory of morphological changes in the polymer structure during the 1-hexene sorption.
