Original language description
The work deals with automation of existing membrane filtration unit TIA (Bollene, France), laboratory and pilot-plant scale membrane fitration separator. The unit uses two tubular ceramic membranes (Mebralox, Pall) having the filtration area 0.24 m 2 covering the micro- and ultrafiltration range. Unfortunately, it had no temperature, pressure and liquid level control, as well as the possibility of automatic mode of cleaning of the membranes or data acquisition. The new electrical switchgear was developed in the first step. It was equipped with Siemens Simatic S7-1200 controller with 1214C CPU and touch screen controller Simatic HMI KTP600 placed in the front side of switchgear cabinet, allowing monitoring and controlling the process without an extra operator computer.
