The model for process parameters, resistant starch content (RS) and sensory properties of maize extrudates presented in the journal Starch(1) was verified by new experiments with an enlarged scope of variables. New equations are in the following forms: ln p = 18.0993 - 0.11186*W + 0.002924*W-2 - 0.24026*t(3) + 0.001094*t(3)(2) + 0.015903*R/W; RS = 12.37 - 0.20233*t(3) + 0.00093*t(3)(2) - 0.05524*R-D - 0.00251*p. The addition of Nutriose lowered pressure due to lower MW, but added amylose resulted contrastingly in higher pressure than that which had been calculated. RS values of extrudates with added amylose to input material are +4 % wt. The new equations for expansion ratio and stress-at-break: ER = 0.886 - 0.54707*W + 0.040284*W-2 - 0.00096*W-3+ 0.023813*t(3) + 0.002083*t(4) + 0.000963*p; ln sigma = 6.625362 + 0.061011*W - 0.02671*t(3) - 0.00982*t(4) - 0.88034*ER.
