Experimental observations of heat transport effects in the cylindrical ceramic body of catalytic reactor consisting of the system of parallel channels with square cross-section are compared with numerical simulations. The effects are studied using the spatially two-dimensional two-phase pseudo-homogeneous monolith reactor model.
