Original language description
The stationary and dynamic behavior of electrolyte diode was studied by mathematical modeling. The effects of applied voltage, acid and base concentrations, fixed charge in the hydrogel and addition of a third species were investigated. Interaction of electroosmotic flow and isotachophoresis induces pressure gradients in an open microchannel.
