    Enzymatic hydrolysis of penicillin G in electro-membrane reactor is studied experimentally and by numerical simulations. The experiments confirmed strong effects of applied electric field on enzyme reaction predicted by numerical simulations. The possibility to increase reaction rate by electric field is clearly demonstrated.
