Solution to the Time-Optimal Discrete-Control Problems by Mean of MATLAB
Original language description
The contribution is devoted to taking full advantage of standard MATLAB commands for solving the time-optimal discrete-control problem. A basic task is always to solve a polynomial Diophantine equation of a certain type. There are given three basic methods for their solution (the Euclidean algorithm, elementary matrix transformations and method of indefinite coefficients). They are all soluble with support of MATLAB or its standard toolbox commands. Their computational complexity is compared. Results ofa simple model problem are presented. Quality of the control is compared for several situations, when some initial assumptions used in controller design are not satisfied.
