Extraction of Mo(VI) Salts by Primary Amine from Aqueous Sulphuric
Original language description
The primary amine Primene JMT, a commercially available reagent, has been used in this work to investigate the extraction of molybdenum (VI) from strong sulphuric acid solution. Equilibrium extraction data are reported for initial concentration of molybdenum (VI) between 2.5-25 g/l as a function of sulphuric acid concentration within the range ~1-10 mol/l. The extractant was dissolved in benzene or in BDR (non-aromatic solvent), octanol was used as the modifier. The stoichiometric models of extraction at various initial conditions were discussed.
