    Simulation of Catalytic Reactions by HYSYS With Use of Reaction Kinetics Extension

  • Original language description

    This work is dealing with possibilities of the generic simulation program HYSYS. The reaction kinetics expression of the sulfur dioxide catalytic oxidation was added to the program to demonstrate its customization. The advantage of this extension consists in use of the large database of physical and chemical properties of components and possibilities to build own reactor models with kinetics expression that are based on plant experimental data or data published in literature.
