Cross Wavelet Denoising of 2D Image

Original language description

The cross wavelet de-noising of 2D image is a heuristics based on decomposition to independent 1D line signals in four directions in the first phase. The line directions are horizontal, vertical, diagonal and side-diagonal ones. The 1D wavelet de-noisingtakes part in the second phase. The third phase of data processing reconstructs four different 2D images. Finally the compromise 2D image is composed using averages, medians or BES technique.
