Presented paper is devoted to the application of two-dimensional interpolation methods with the goal to watch the time evolution of air pollution in the Czech Republic. The results of 2D interpolation can be presented as a bitmap picture or they canbe drawn into 3D graph. Consequently, the resulting images or graphs can be stored in the animated sequences with the given parameters and saved as an AVI (audio,video) file. Both mathematical and animation part were solved using Matlab system.
