  • Original language description

    We investigate the possible use of the direct gravimetric observation for the measurement of the kinetics of catalytic polymerization. Initial testing experiments of the constructed experimental apparatus were focused on the detailed studies of the sorption of species present in the gas phase into the polymer phase. The diffusion of these species through the polymer was also investigated. The effects of sorption/desorption processes on the rate of particle growth are discussed.
