  • Original language description

    Two-variable mathematical model of the bromate-sulfite-ferrocyanide (BSF) reaction was used successfully to reproduce experiments including a variety of dynamical phenomena such as oscillations, excitability and bifurcations. This study is aimed at a particular part of the chemical mechanism of this pH-oscillating reaction - the reaction of sulfite with ferricyanide that is produced by an oxidation of ferrocyanide by bromate in full system.
