Comparison residence time distribution of liquid obtained from stimulus response technique with different type of input signal
Original language description
Stimulus response technique is used for measuring residence time distribution of liquid phase. Evaluation of experiments depends on the type of stimulus signal. Three types of input signals were tested: the -impulse, general pulse and a general pulse inarecycle. The dispersion model was used for interpretation of response curves for all stimuli. Results of experimental stimulus-response technique are independent of the shape of stimulus signal. Differences and advantages of stimuli under the same exp erimental conditions are presented.
