    Numerical analysis of wave solutions in reaction-diffusion systems

  • Original language description

    Efficient methods for numerical tracking and continuation of homoclinic/heteroclinic orbits in systems of ordinary differential equations are presented. These methods are used to study travelling front and pulse waves in spatially one-dimensional systemsupon a moving frame coordinate transformation. A computer implementation of these methods included in a continuation program Cont is used to study front and pulse waves in the Selkov model.
