    Presented work is the minimal model of the reactions hydrogen peroxide-thiosulfate-cupric ions (HPTCu), which is based on the experimentally well known kinetics of copper-catalysed oxidation of thiosulfate by hydrogen peroxide, alkaline decomposition ofthe formed tetrathionate by peroxide leading to sulfite. The final step is an autocatalytic oxidation of sulfite to sulfate. This model describes qualitatively experimentally observed phenomena.
