Original language description
The paper is focused into studies of responses of one- and two-dimensional excitable media to a pulse-like stimulus applied in the refractory tail of a travelling wave of excitation. As a model of an excitable medium the three variable reaction-diffusionmodel representing the population of starving cells of a slime mould Dictyostelium discoideum (DD) is utilized.

Článek je zaměřen na studium odpovědi jedno- a dvou-rozměrného excitabilního média na pulsní stimul aplikovaný v refrakterní části axcitabilní vlny. Modelem excitabilního média je tříproměnný reakčně-difúzní model populace hladovějících buněk hlenky Dictyostelium discoideum.
