Dependability management according to ISO 900-4/IEC 300-1 and EN 60300-2 standards represents a set of activities of all phases of a product#s life cycle. The orientation at ISO standards is important in connection with the integration of states of central Europe into EU. Practical implementation of dependability management process to organisations which activities ensure only some phase of a product#s life cycle is connected with the design of appropriate dependability programme. This is necessary fororganisations which activities are connected with life cycle phase operation and maintenance. These organisations need to elaborate proper dependability programme for implementation of dependability management process.

Management spolehlivosti dle norem ISO 9000-4/IEC 300-1 a evropských standardů EN 6300-2, reprezentuje všechny činnosti ve všech fázích životního cyklu výrobních zařízení. Nutná je orientace na normy ISO a jejich harmonizace s evropskou legislativou. Takový program vyžaduje propracovat všechny postupné kroky programu bezpečnosti a spolehlivosti pro implementaci do výrobní praxe.
