    Characterization of SERS-active substrates by AFM

  • Original language description

    Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is a widely used technique for obtaining vibrational spectra at some roughened metal surfaces. The surface roughness and nanometer scale structure of gold, silver and copper substrates are characterized using atomic force microscopy (AFM). Different SERS-active substrates suitable for spectral mapping are prepared using procedures consisted of electrochemical deposition of metal layer and further roughening with oxidation reduction cycles (ORC) treatment. AFM isdemonstrated to be capable of quantitatively defining the tree-dimensional structure of these roughened substrates.

    Povrchem zesíleným Ramanovým rozptylem (Surface?Enhanced Raman Scattering ?SERS) se rozumí výrazné zesílení Ramanova rozptylu na kovových zdrsněných površích. Přeložená práce se zabývá přípravou zlatých, stříbrných a měděných substrátů elektrochemicky katodickou redukcí. Nanostruktura povrchů takto připravených substrátů je studována pomocí mikroskopie atomárních sil.
