Physical principles of electrical process in electrostatic precipitator
Original language description
Mathematical models for calculating of particle charging in an electrostatic precipitator are presented. The saturation charge of spherical particle in mono-ionized electrical field was calculated by Pauthenier and Cochet formula. Electrical properties of removed particles are depended on their size distribution, electrical resistivity and chemical composition. The typical results of measurement of size distribution and chemical composition of fly ash are presented in this contribution.
