Original language description
An alloy induration evaluation provides one of the basic criterion in an alloy assessment. Vickers? induration test forms one of the principle of induration evaluation. It is based on measurement of a puncture area with a knowledge of a load and pike size. Desired area can be evaluated from microscopic puncture images by means of image processing methods. A goal of this work is a development of algorithm of the automatic indentation evaluation. A graphical user interface is designed for a batch interpretation of microscopic Al-alloy images. The Matlab system is used for algorithm design.
