    Matlab Toolbox for Data Modeling using GMM

    The presented toolbox contains several functions for data modeling using Gaussian Mixture Model in its simplest form, i.e. sum of two Gaussian probability density functions (PDF). The parameters of GMM are estimated by using equation system derived by method of moments. GMM should model a signal and a noise in wavelet domain or in a special cases also in spatial domain.

    Algoritmu postačí k odhadu parametrů modelu znalost 2. a 4. výběrového momentu modelovaných dat. Metoda není iterativní, výpočet je proveden pouze vyčíslením momentových rovnic. Algoritmus dosahuje až 1,8 násobné rychlosti oproti EM algoritmu.
