Original language description
The paper deals with the use of LoG filters for estimation of the boundaries and thickness of tube walls in nanostructure images. The main goal of the presented paper is a study of the influence of the filter parameters on detection of nano-tube walls .The mathematical background of LoG filter is reviewed and the application of LoG fillter in nanostructure image processing is described, as well. There is a comparison of theoretical expectations and the evaluation results in the conclusion.
