Partial Molar Isentropic Compressions of Selected Cyclic Ethers at Infinite Dilution in Water at Temperatures T = (278 to 318) K and Atmospheric Pressure.
Original language description
Speed of sound data for dilute aqueous solutions of five cyclic ethers (oxolane, 1,3-dioxolane, oxane, 1,4-dioxane, 1,3,5-trioxane) were obtained using the Anton Paar DSA 5000 sound analyzer in the temperature range from (278.15 to 318.15) K and at atmospheric pressure. Using previously published density data standard molar isentropic compressions were calculated and mutually compared from the point of view of molecular structures. Group contributions were also evaluated and discussed.
