Photocatalytic Degradation of Textile Dyes in aTiO2/UV System
Original language description
A laboratory scale photocatalytic reactor was constructed to perform the decolorization experiments. Several immobilization methods of titanium dioxide were examined. These methods were compared in decolorization experiments with the Methylene Blue dye.Capability to degrade other textile dyes was verified, too. We were also interested in influence of the intensity the UV light, volumetric flow rate of treated water and amount of the immobilized titanium dioxide present in the reactor.
