Determination of the water quantity presented in solids is very important in many industrial and laboratory measurements. Selection of appropriate measurement methods and analyzers can significantly affect production rates or product quality. In specialized manufacturing processes, for example,based on weight transactions, very small errors in the determination of moisture can even lead to huge economic losses. The chapter deals with methods and analyzers for measurement of moisture in solids, which are mainly used in the industry.
