Health and Safety Management at work is one of the employer's duties. The aim is to create conditions for safe work. In the chemical industry, the emphasis is mainly on the working environment, but the role of machinery and equipment is also important. Properly realized maintenance can not only reduce the cost of failure but also prevent injuries of employees. The presented contribution analyses the situation in the selected enterprises and offers some recommendations for its improvement.
