    The chapter describes the principles used in industrial weighing and dosing of bulk materials. The main principles of load sensors and precision of the weighting are mentioned in the introductory part of the chapter. Discontinuous scales (platform and hopper scales, scales for roller tracks, and scales for road and rail vehicles) are described in detail. In the group of continuous scales are described weighfeeders and mass flowmeters for bulk materials. The final part is devoted to a devices for continuous dosing.
