Original language description
The aim of this study is to describe the microstructure of coatings of wires prepared in a pilot coating line. The structure is mainly affected by chemical composition and cooling rate (depending on the difference in temperatures of the wire and the bath, wire drawing speed and cooling method). The ultimate goal is to determine optimal production process to achieve the best mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Compared to the progress report issued as 2018 M096-1 in October 2018, this final report contains additional EBSD measurements.
