Complexation of the potassium cation with enniatin B: an experimental and theoretical study
Original language description
Extraction experiments in the two-phase water-nitrobenzene system and gamma-activity measurements were used to determine the stability constant of the enniatin B-K+ complex dissolved in nitrobenzene saturated with water as 10(5.5 +/- 0.2). Quantum mechanical calculations were applied to predict the most probable structure of this cationic complex species.
