The article deals with current problems of many chemical and food enterprises that are trying in today's turbulent economic environment to offer customers the best possible product at the lowest cost. Many companies are trying to get production more effective, but it should be noted that the production is closely linked with human resources and other logistics activities, such as storage of input or output and transport. This article will focus on the creation of proposals to improve the efficiency of warehouse management in the food business since production itself is governed by chemical processes that do not need to change. One of the tools will be computer simulation used to display the material flow in the warehouse of outputs. Application of the simulation model proposed by the reference store should be a more efficient work of staff, simplification of logistics operations and global increasing of efficiency and decreasing of costs.
